After the success of my Carrabba's vegan guide, I got many requests to make a vegan guide for Sanford's Olive Garden location. Olive Garden is a nationwide Italian-chain staple with one of the most iconic accidentally vegan food items: the humble garlic breadstick. I am certainly not the only one who has made a vegan guide to Olive Garden, but I do find some of the other guides a bit confusing. My goal is to make this guide as easy-to-read as possible so you can have confidence in ordering plant-based cuisine at this classic dining spot. I hope you learn a thing or two!
Here is your vegan guide to eating at Olive Garden!
SOUPS, SALADS, AND BREADSTICKS
Breadstick with garlic topping
Probably the main reason to go to Olive Garden as a vegan in my opinion.
Minestrone Soup
Fresh vegetables, beans and pasta in a light tomato broth - a vegan classic.
Salad
Order with no croutons and dressing. Ask for olive oil and balsamic vinegar as a dressing.
