Hi, this is Allison.

I started The Sanford Vegan in 2021 hoping to highlight North Orlando restaurants, vegan food offerings, and national news to local residents. I live in Georgetown, Sanford with my Husband, whom I met at Crooms Academy in Goldsboro (and is also vegan). I feel a deep love for Sanford and am grateful for all the opportunities it's given me.

Since beginning The Sanford Vegan, we have grown and now write full-fledged plant-based reviews and consult with local businesses on potential vegan offerings. I've learned a lot since going vegan in 2020, and I can't wait to continue to learn and grow in one of the 21st century's greatest battles for our health, environment, and the sanctity of animal life!

Outside my work at The Sanford Vegan, I am a full-time media and publishing consultant and am also working on a Masters degree focused on vegan spirituality.
